Confessed by anon “Mako and Bolin had the worst character development in the entire show. Bolin was only a comic relief and Mako was an indecisive jerk until the last five minutes. I’m hoping for a second season, but if there is no development on those two I’m going to flip a table.”

But no. He literally is stuck in Mako’s shadow 99.9% of the time, in every aspect possible. This is one of the many (and main) reasons I think TLoK has mediocre storytelling.”

To me, I think these two would have so much potential being together if Mako didn’t find himself suddenly falling for Korra and having the bad love triangle in the first place. Sometimes I think the reason Mako fell for Korra is that she can bend 4 elements while Asami is a non-bender.”
