To me, I think these two would have so much potential being together if Mako didn’t find himself suddenly falling for Korra and having the bad love triangle in the first place. Sometimes I think the reason Mako fell for Korra is that she can bend 4 elements while Asami is a non-bender.”

I mean seriously, u have rabid shippers pairing Korra w/ practically everyone; And don’t get me started w/ General Iroh (Seriously, the guy only had screentime for roughly 3 episodes and he’s paired up immensely w/ Asami, Korra, Bolin, etc.) You know what? I would advise you guys that you should think clearly about a relationship before shipping it. Why? Because u don’t want to become a rabid shipper. It’s not fun.”

He clearly changed into a nice guy when his bending got taken away. He doesn’t have to join team avatar, and he doesn’t have to develop feelings for Korra or Asami. I just want more than 3 apperances here and there throughout the season. If I only see one or not any apperance of my Tahno, I will be a very upset woman.”

Confessed by anon “Everyone in Team Avatar are still pretty one-dimensional which is expected since they only had one season. So yes, Bolin is just a simple comic relief character, Mako is just romance drama and Asami is just about her problems with her father. But I’m sure they’ll evolve into awesome characters, just how Katara, Sokka, Toph, Zuko and Suki did.  Give them time, fandom!”

Would you like the writers to apologize for making Mako act like a real teenage boy? by the time Korra actually revealed how she felt about Mako he was already in a relationship with Asami. What should he have done differently? dropped her like a hot cake? that would get rid of a lot of plot devices and yes, the writers did it all for the story.”
